Barrowell Green Recycling Centre
The local authority provides a licensed recycling centre (civic amenity site) for Enfield residents to dispose of general mixed household waste, and recyclable wastes.
The site is open from Tuesday to Sunday each week between the hours of 07.45am to 16.15pm weekdays and 08.00am to 16.15pm weekends. Large containers are available for the recycling of a range of wastes, and separate containers are provided for general household waste. There is a 5’9” (1.75 Metre) vehicle height restriction at the site and all vehicles that exceed this restriction will not be permitted to enter under any circumstances (Controlled by on site security and CCTV camera system).
Residents with larger family cars (i.e. 4x4’s and people carriers) and disabled persons with specially adapted vehicles will be allowed unrestricted access through the centre contractor’s gate. Assistance will be provided to disabled residents if requested.
Eligibility
Site for disposal of household/residential wastes only. No commercial or industrial wastes will be accepted.
Required Customer Information
If delivering household/residential waste in a small van (below 5’9” or 1.75 metres) proof of address will be required. (I.e. council tax bill, utilities bill etc)
