Enfield Design Awards 2003
The 2003 Awards programme received a total of fifty-six entries, which varied from park benches to blocks of flats. The entries were placed into one of the five categories (as above) and a judging panel was appointed. The panel consisted of industry experts as well as prominent local people from across the borough.
The judges were:
Leon Bicknell, Architect – Bicknell Associates
Councillor Tony Dey – council Member London Borough of Enfield
Simon Jones, Editor – Enfield Gazette
Nigel Pound – Federation of Master Builders

Out of the fifty-six entries, the judging panel finally managed to draw up a short-list of sixteen finalists; these were spread throughout the borough and across all of the entry categories. Once the short-list was decided on, the judging panel visited all sixteen finalists in an effort to select the winners.
