Health Walks

Walking is said to be the perfect activity for health. The World Health Organisation says that health is…

“A state of complete physical, mental and social well being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.”

In addition to the Parks Outreach Team guided walks, as part of Enfield’s Healthy Living Centre Fit for Life project, we provide health walks that are:

• Free
• At your own pace
• Suited to different levels of fitness
• For enjoyment
• Led by trained walk leaders
• Sessions last for approximately 50 minutes
• An opportunity to meet and socialise with like-minded people

Local led walks across the Borough at the following parks:

Arnos Park
Time: Mondays at 2.00pm
Location: At the tennis courts near the Brookdale entrance Map

Broomfield Park
Time: Wednesdays at 10:30am
Location: Outside the Broomfield Park bowling green, off Aldermans Hill, Palmers Green, Map

Forty Hall
Time: Wednesdays at 2:30pm
Location: Forty Hall courtyard, Forty Hill, Enfield, Map

Grovelands Park
Time: Saturdays at 10.30am and Mondays at 2.00pm
Location: Meet by the café, Grovelands Park, Bourne Hill, Southgate, Map

Jubilee Park
Time: Tuesdays at 9:30am
Location: Access via Hadleigh Rd or Galliard Rd, at the Community Building, Edmonton, Map

Oakwood Park
Time: Sundays at 11.15am
Location: Access via Prince George Avenue, meet at the pitch & putt hut Map

Pymmes Park
Time: Fridays at 2:00pm
Location: Pymmes Park Visitor Centre, Pymmes Park, Victoria Road, Edmonton, Map

Town Park
Time: Thursdays at 2:00pm
Location: Main Entrance opposite Central Library, Cecil Road, Enfield, Map

Trent Country Park
Time: Fridays at 10.30am
Location: Trent Park Café, near Cockfosters Road entrance, Cockfosters Road, Map
