Information Services
An important role of the public library is that of an information service. If you need the answer to any question or problem, your library is often the best place to start. If we can’t answer your query, we can almost always find you details of somebody who can.
Even our smallest libraries have access to information via the Internet, as well as a reference shelf with an encyclopedia, dictionaries, community information, maps and street atlases. But the largest and most comprehensive collections are maintained at our three designated reference libraries: the Central Library in Enfield Town, Edmonton Green Library, and Palmers Green Library. There are smaller collections at Ordnance Road Library, Ridge Avenue Library and Southgate Circus Library.
