Library fines

Issuing of reminders and processing of fines for borrowed items, which are not returned by the due date.

Charges are made when items borrowed from libraries are not returned or renewed on or before the due date. For books and compact discs this is a daily charge. For DVDs, Playstation Games and Videos the original loan charge is repeated.
A further charge is made if a reminder notice is sent.
There are concessionary charges for some categories of borrowers e.gs children and disabled.
