Libraries - reserving books and other items

Requests Service

Library members can reserve any item which is not currently available upon payment of a small charge. The librarian will inform the member when their ordered item is ready for collection.

Items on loan to another borrower or not in stock in the borough can be requested online or at any branch library. If the item is not in stock an attempt will be made to purchase it or borrow it from another authority. An extra charge is made if the item is borrowed from another authority.

Eligibility
Any member of Enfield Libraries.

Required Customer Information
None.

Service Level Agreement and Turnaround
• 50% met within 7 days.
• 70% met within 15 days.
• 85% met within 30 days.
