Home Library Service

The service is open to any resident of the borough. People can apply themselves or be referred by Social Services or a branch library assistant.

We visit each user every four weeks, on the same day of the week at approximately the same time of day.

We supply books, Large Print books, books in community languages, recorded books on tape or CD, films on video or DVD and music on CD. The service is free

When someone applies to the service, the Community Access librarian visits them to explain what is available and to discuss their reading tastes. We encourage readers to make reserves.
