Scaffold and Hoarding Licence

Any scaffold or hoarding, which encroaches or projects over the Highway, requires a scaffold permit. These permits are only issued to the scaffolding company.

The scaffold company requests an application form to be sent out– by fax or post.

The completed form along with liability insurance details is given to the relevant inspector who will approve the erection of the scaffolding/ hoarding.

The application process normally takes 5 working days. Once approved, licence details are sent out to the scaffolding company as well as our terms and conditions.

At present there is no charge for this service.
