Licence - nursing agencies

Any agency, which supplies nurses to hospitals, old people’s home’s or other outlets, can only do so if they are licensed.  This applies to employment agencies or any organisation / individual operating in this area of work. The Commission now does the licensing of nursing agencies for Social Care Inspection (CSCI).

The licensing of nursing agencies is now done by the Commission for Social Care Inspection (CSCI), previously known as the National Care Standards Commission (NCSC).
