Registration - auction premisesThe Licensing Unit receive and administer Auction Registration applications, under the Greater London Council (General Powers) Act 1984, for premises or stalls where sales by competitive bidding are held. The service receives and administers Auction Registration applications and fees in addition to a range of other licences, permits and registrations. The Licensing Team operates during normal office hours and are available to take telephone calls, respond to e-mails and see applicants in reception from 09.00 to 17.00hrs to offer help and advice. The Licensing Team consult other internal departments and outside agencies on applications including Environmental Health, Planning, Metropolitan Police and Fire Brigade. Officers regularly inspect registered premises and stalls to ensure compliance with conditions attached to registrations issued. Complaints about registered or unregistered premises or stalls can be made by eForm, telephone, e-mail, post or in person at the Civic Offices. All complaints are dealt with in accordance with the Councils Complaint Procedure Eligibility
