Council Committee Agendas and minutes

The Local Authority is required to provide notice of its formal Committee meetings and record & publish all decisions made at these meetings. The Democratic Services Team is responsible for the production and publishing of the agenda and minutes from these meetings.

Any member of the public is entitled to request and be provided with a copy of a Committee agenda, report or minute. This request can be made in person, by phone, e-mail or in writing.

Agendas and reports for each meeting are available via the Council’s Democracy website, intranet or in hard copy (or via e-mail) from the Democratic Services Team or main Borough Libraries.

The only exception to this entitlement is:
(a) If a report contains “exempt of confidential” information (under the Access to Information Act). In this case public access will be restricted.
