A two-hour long interactive training course:
• The advantages of interviewing potential staff
• The preparation of interview questions
• Awareness of possible answers given during an interview
• How to get the best out of the applicant
• The importance of listening during an interview
• Tips on ending the interview
• Examples of different types of questions (Group exercise involved).
• Examples of ideal responses needed from applicants (Group exercise involved).
Course Purpose
The course will benefit practitioners seeking new and improved methods of interviewing candidates. The aim is to give some guidance on getting the best out of each applicant during interview by ensuring that the interviewer takes reasonable measures to ensure that they have planned the right questions, setting and short listing tools.

At the end of the session you should have:
• Gained a better understanding of the importance of planning interviews.
• Be knowledgeable on different styles of interview questions.
• Be aware of the importance of listening.
• Gained skills on how to draw information from an applicant.
