What we do?
The Childcare Recruitment Project is an impartial, free support service that provides information, advice and guidance on the initial stages of a career in childcare.
As part of the service we offer an Introduction To A Career In Childcare Coffee Sessions once a month. The sessions are available in the morning and some evenings to accommodate people with different commitments.
Following the initial introductory coffee session we offer a ten-week Introduction to Childcare Taster Training Course for those who show commitment and dedication in starting a career in childcare.
Both the coffee sessions and training courses are FREE of charge for Enfield residents.
For those individuals who are qualified, we advertise “live” job vacancies on behalf of child day-care settings across the borough.
All vacancies are displayed on the Enfield Job Vacancy Bulletin, which is updated on a monthly basis. As part of this service if you contact the Childcare Recruitment Project Co-ordinator we will ensure that you are added to our database and will receive a printed version of the vacancies on a monthly basis.
If you are a child day-care provider there is support, guidance and advice available to you for all your recruitment needs.
As part of our service we provide a flexible service that can be accessed by providers at any time. We offer training courses throughout the year (printed in the training manual), one to one sessions, group sessions and coffee mornings.
