The social services department provides a list of recognised groups and organisations that provide advice and support for those who are caring for adults or children with special needs.

There are a range of support groups and organisations that provide advice and support for carers in the borough, including sitting/respite provision, access to support groups; and information, advice and advocacy.

Required Customer Information
Beyond receiving basic signposting information customers of the groups listed are likely to have to provide standard personal information (name, address, telephone, date of birth, etc) , and in some cases a form of ID (passport, birth certificate).
