The local authority may provide access to information about hospices in the area for terminally ill people and their carers. The North London Hospice manages the Palliative Care Service for Enfield Primary Care Trust. The hospice is a registered charity offering care to people who live in the London Boroughs of Barnet, Enfield and Haringey and have an advanced and progressive illness. Care is planned with patients, relatives and friends on an individual basis to ensure the maintenance of independence and dignity. Advice and care are provided to people in their own homes, at a Hospice Day Centre and in the Hospice In-Patient Unit. Eligibility
