The School Effectiveness and Inclusion Leadership Team leads on, School Improvement, 14-19 provision, Excellence in Cities, Youth Training Services, Education Business Partnership, Lifelong and Community Learning. SEI believes that the educational progress of all learners, regardless of age, ability, disability, family background and economic status, is the key indicator of effectiveness and improvement in all learning situations.

By working in partnership with the community SEI will create the conditions necessary for educational effectiveness by developing practice and policy-making which facilitate both learning and inclusion. Developing links with a range of partners, including businesses and the voluntary/community sector help to improve adult learning and employability.
