Housing – improvements – temporary accommodation

Provision of temporary accommodation to tenants who are being disturbed by major works carried out in their own or neighbouring properties.

We will try to plan and schedule works to your home in a manner that enables you to remain in occupation. If that this is not possible and you will not be able to occupy your home during modernisation and improvement works or return to your home at the end of each working day, we will arrange temporary accommodation for those residents named on the tenancy agreement.
We will provide a Resident Liaison Officer to assist with any move that may need to be made including placing goods into store.
In general our contractors are asked to provide temporary refuge facilities as part of the contract of works for extensive improvement projects and residents may use these facilities and return to their homes on completion of the works for that day.

All residents affected by major improvement works.

Required Customer Information
If you require temporary accommodation we will need to confirm the following:
The names of all registered tenants of the dwelling
Any special needs that need to be considered in the provision of temporary accommodation, for example level access bathing facilities.
A telephone contact number

Service Level Agreement and Turnaround
As each resident will have differing needs the individual agreements will need to be agreed with the Resident Liaison Officer. If goods are placed in store, residents and the Resident Liaison Officer will be asked to jointly witness and sign for an inventory of items.
