All Councils have been set a target of raising the standard of all its properties by the year 2010, by the Government in England and Wales or by 2015 by the Scottish Executive in Scotland. Improvements should include double-glazed windows, replacement kitchens and bathrooms, updated heating systems.
Following the survey of your home we will determine whether your home meets the Decent Homes Standard. If your home needs modernisation work to meet the Decent Homes Standard then we will look to improve your home to meet not only the basic Decent Homes Standard but also the Enfield Homes Standard, subject to practical ability and availability of funding.
