Land and property - demolitions - disturbance allowance for council tenants

Where the demolition of nearby property causes disturbance to tenants in council property the authority may pay a disturbance allowance in compensation for the disruption while the demolition work is taking place.

If a resident feels that they may be eligible to receive disturbance allowance, they can contact their estate manager who will be able to advise them.

Eligibility
All tenants affected by demolition work.

Service Level Agreement and Turnaround
