The 100 Club

To recognise the incredible contribution of volunteers throughout the borough, the Enfield Strategic Partnership has launched a new scheme, the 100 Hours Club. People engaged in voluntary work and Voluntary Organisations that engage volunteers in the Borough are invited to get involved in the 100 Hours Club.

One-to-One (Enfield) is working in partnership with Enfield Council, Age Concern, Home Start, Enfield Disability Action and Enfield Voluntary Action to develop the 100 Hours Club to ensure that volunteers are recognised and rewarded for their hard work.

Volunteers can do anything from as little as 2 hours per week on average.

Enfield Volunteering Information Service (EVIS)
The Enfield Volunteering Information Service works with local voluntary organisations and with people who want to become volunteers.
EVIS run monthly Introduction to Volunteering Workshops and offer individual appointments on Thursday mornings for potential volunteers.
EVIS have about 180 volunteering vacancies and 150 volunteer involving organisations on their database.

Home-Start Enfield

There are many opportunities for volunteering within Home-Start, both working directly with families or supporting those who do.

One-to-One Enfield

One-to-One runs a supported Volunteering Project, which comprises of a two day accredited training course “Introduction to Volunteering”. Volunteers support their members to attend community activities.

TRAINING INFORMATION
Learning and Skills Council Train to Gain Service

Paid volunteers may be eligible for the Train to Gain service.
The Learning and Skills Council’s Train to Gain service provides impartial, independent advice on training to businesses across England. It can help businesses improve their productivity and competitiveness by ensuring that employees have the right skills to do the best job.
Interested organisations can call 0800 015 55 45 to register details and speak to a skills broker for further advice.
